FEARLESS 9 “UPRISING” - April 4, 2009
Ryan Diaz and Baby Joe Taimanglo headline the blockbuster fight card in the Fearless Fighting Championships - Fearless 9, which explodes April 4 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Organizers of the event assured fans of a slambang action among the country’s top mixed martial arts practitioners and foreign grapplers who are raring to mix it up for fame and fortune in the octagon arena starting at 6 p.m.
That includes Diaz, nicknamed the Lion, and Taimanglo, known as the Juggernaut, who will square off for the lightweight (149-lbs) crown, while fancied wushu expert Joel Amurao puts his featherweight(129-lbs.) belt on the line against Kid Rodel Orais.
Razi Jabarri and Cesar Yarte provide the action in the other title showdown in the middleweight (169 lbs.) division of the event dubbed “Uprising” put up by Fearless Promotions Inc. and Makisig Network Inc.
(FFC) Fearless Intensy 8 - August 29, 2008
Fearless Fighting Championship will rock Pasig City with its INTENSITY 8 event at the spanking, new fully-air-conditioned Rizal Capitol Recreational Center located in the Rizal Provincial Capitol complex along Shaw Boulevard near the rotonda.
The blockbuster fight card on August 29 will be headlined by the Middleweight championship fight between Adrian Hillana and Razl Jabarri and the Featherweight championship fight between Joel Amurao and Arie Zarco. And also one super-fight, five featured fights and five qualifying clashes on the undercard.
The techniques utilized in mixed martial arts competition generally fall into two categories: striking techniques (such as kicks, knees and punches) and grappling techniques (such as clinch holds, pinning holds, submission holds, sweeps, takedowns and throws).Fought in an octagon arena, mixed martial arts is fast becoming a favorite sport among Filipinos.

(FFC) The Ultimate Challenges Events - April 05, 2008
The Fight Night, in cooperation withAce Technologies Inc. was highlighted by the bout in the Middleweight division between Adrian Hillana of Submission Sport Bacolod vs Angelo Lazarito of Fight Club. This will be the first professional fight of Lazarrito, who boasts a 2-2 record in his qualifying bouts, even as the 21 year old Hillana carries a 2-0 card inside the Octagon.
As for the qualifying fights in the Featherweight division, Swing Ellar of SPRAWL was pitted against Harold Bucayo of TEAM STRIKERSin which Ellar won via referee stoppage. Also the fight between Michael Dan Rubio of Manoy's and Carlo Juarez of Hybrid Yaw Yan were Michael Rubio won via referee stoppage in the 3rd round. The fight between Sulpiano Laurio of SPRAWL and Ranier Biron of Manoy's resulted in a Laurio win via rear naked choke in the 3rd round.
The bout in the Lightweight division featured Ruben Sumido of Submission Sport versus Rowel Dela Cruz which Sumido converted into a win via verbal tapout due to leg shots in 1st round of an action packed fight. The scheduled bout between Rency Calveho of Alliance/Submission Sport versus Rodel Chua of The Elements Mariner's Gym were Rency Calveho managed to put an armbar lock in 1st round gave him the win.
In the Middleweight division the qualifying fights between Joshua Abella of Toughguys and Cesar Yarte of Mais's Gym was a sure fire hit for the crowd wherein Yarte managed to lock Abella in a standing guillotine in 2nd round. In the fight between Christian Virtudazo of SPRAWL versus Jerry Legaspi of Hybrid Yaw Yan, Legaspi was declared the winner via referee stoppage 1st round. The Middleweight fight between Ariel Samadio of SPRAWL and Glen Ordonio of FREESTYLE was won Samadio by default.
The FFC contract fights between Mike Banayad of Alliance/Submission Sport and Alcer Lozada of Fight Club in the Lightweight Division ended in a draw. While the bout that featured Arie Zarco of Maic's Gym versus Reydon Romero of Kampilan in the featherweight division ended in the scorecards were Zarco won via judge’s decision.

(FFC) The Relentless Events - March 27, 2007
Wushu proved to be the most prolific form of martial arts in the Fearless Fighting Championships with four of its practitioners pulling off big wins to advance to the main draw of the action-packed event at the Metrowalk.
Amurao stopped Noble Ampoc of Yaw Yan, Pasiwat prevailed over Reydon Romero of Team Kampilan and Kelly bundled out Larry Baluyan of New Blood Kickboxing.
Others who hurdled their rivals in the eventwere Eric Tulis, James Solomon, Froilan Sarenas, Bernard of wushu, Edward Folayang, Sulpiano Laurio Jr., Angelo Lazarrito, Melchor Villasin and Duke Villanueva.
The other wushu athletes who notched their second victory in the event, backed by PLDT, Revicon, Tanduay Rhum, Motolite, Superb Security, Phi Resto Bar, South Sea’s Grill, Elbow Room Rest. and Partas Bus Line, were Joel Amurao, Joseph Pasiwat and Edward Kelly, who all won via choke in the first round, while Jovan Presbeterio of Maic’s Gym disposed of Celso Gunda Jr, of Fight Club in the second round to join the wushu bets in the main draw.
